Clear Creek – Mrs. Yates Aikins died at her home in South Dakota Sunday morning after a few weeks’ illness. The body will be brought to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bailey, at Mitchellville this week for interment. They were married last fall and went to Dakota in the winter where he had a position on the railroad. They were at home this spring for a short visit.
Word reached Valeria Sunday morning from Dakota the sad news of the death of Mrs. Yates Akins formerly known as Edna Bailey. The body will be brought back to Santiago for burial.
