RUTH R. CREGER

Services for Ruth R. Creger, 83, of Marshalltown, formerly of West Des Moines, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel, with burial in Glendale Cemetery.

Mrs. Creger died of a stroke Wednesday at Marshalltown Community Hospital.

Born in Union County, Mrs. Creger was a West Des Moines resident most of her life before moving to Marshalltown one year ago. A retired bookkeeper, she was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Rainbow Division of World War I veterans and First Free United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Arthur; a son, Jack, living in California; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home today.
