1952-2008Steve Lewis, 56, passed away on December 23, 2008. He was born in Des Moines on October 29, 1952 and attended East High School and fort Dodge Central Community College. He became the owner of Dwight Lewis Body Shop in Des Moines.
Steve is survived by his daughters, Dawn Lewis of Grimes; Laura (Steve) Kirstein of Des Moines; his mother, Theo Lewis; his sister, Sue Lewis both of Golden valley, MN.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dwight.
Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. A visitation with family present will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral Home. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register Sat 27 Dec 2008.
