Last Rites For
Mrs. Anna A. Altman

Services for Mrs. Anna A. Altman, 82, of Altoona, were held Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Altoona Christian church, with burial in Altoona cemetery.

Mrs. Altman died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy hospital in Des Moines after an illness of several months.

Born on a farm near Altoona, she lived in that area all her life. She was a former teacher and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Altoona Christian church.

Survivors include her husband, Carl; a son, Joseph G. of Boston, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Kesl, who lives in Florida, and Mrs. Daisy O'Dea of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Ralph Gifford of Sun city, Ariz., and Robert Gifford of Cincinnati, Ohio,and several grandchildren.
