On the 10th inst., a little two year old girl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lane, near Des Moines, met with a sad accident. The little girl was playing in the yard around a swill tub when it fell in. This was not discovered until about five minutes afterwards when the little body was found, but life was extinct.
