David Charles O'Hollearn, 44, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at home. He was born August 28, 1967 to Charles and Susan O'Hollearn in Des Moines. He grew up in Urbandale and graduated from Urbandale High School and Iowa State University. David was a hard worker and loved working outside, especially landscaping. He was an avid sportsman and loved fishing, hunting and nature. David also loved his dogs, Buddy and Sparkles.

David is survived byhis parents, Charles and Susan O'Hollearn; brothers, Joe, Tom and Dan and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 17 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Urbandale. His family will receive friends from 5 to7 p.m., (Today) Thursday, February 16 at Iles Funeral Homes - Westover Chapel. Private interment will be at a later date.

David will be deeply missed by his family.
