Earl O. McQuiston was born in Des Moines, Iowa on January 12, 1941. and died March 15, 2017. He graduated from Keokuk High School where he was a High School All-American and voted into the Iowa Prep Hall of Fame. He was a three year Iowa Hawkeye(Big Ten Title 1960). He was a retired teacher from Apollo High School where he was head football coach for three years, before coaching at Glendale Community College for 15 years, two national titles.
Earl was baptized July 4, 1980 and was a strong Christian the rest of his life. Faith, family and football were his passions. He is survived by his wife Dee, children, Greg and Kim, three granddaughters and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 3, at Desert Christian Fellowship.
