Alan W. Bailey

Alan W. Bailey, 22, of 300 Walnut St. died of pneumonia Saturday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Services will be at 9:30 A.m. Tuesday at the Mitchellville United Methodist Church, with burial at the Mitchellville Cemetery.

Mr. Bailey was born in Des Moines and had lived in Mitchellville until returning to Des Moines about two years ago. He was a member and a volunteer of the Blank Hospital Guild.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Lydia Bailey of Des Moines; two sisters, Sheryl Shaver of Ankeny and Jo Bailey of Indianola; and his grandmother, Cleda Bailey of Mitchellville.
