Curtis Alan Newsom, 63, passed away at his home on May 17, 2011.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at the funeral home.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Gloria Newsom; son, Andrew Newsom; daughters, Deanna (Mark) Funaro and Jennifer (Bob) Tilkes; grandchildren, Shelby Tilkes, Amber Newsom, Elizabeth Funaro, Robert Tilkes, Amanda Tilkes and Aiden Newsom; and brothers, Conrad "Fritz" Newsom and Don Newsom.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and Ray Newsom; and brother, Gary Newsom.
