Lois Wilson, 78, of Polk City died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Polk City Manor, where she was a resident. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Southtown Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial in Avon Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson, a homemaker, was born in Jones County, Texas, and also lived in Des Moines before moving to Polk City in 1989.

She is survived by three daughters, Roxie Cain of Colfax, Ruby McGee of Odessa, Texas; and Lennet Fowler of Crosbyton, Texas; a brother, Floyd Owens of Spur, Texas; a sister, Jewel Morgan of Fort Worth, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa 22 Aug 991.
