Florence L. Dorsey, 79, of Woodbury West Health Care Center, 1211 Vine St., West Des Moines, died of pneumonia Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at West Des Moines Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery.

Mrs. Dorsey was born in Grand Island, Neb., and lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. She retired from Allied Insurance.

A niece, Sharon Symonds of Ankeny, survives.
