Stephen L. Abramovich

Stephen L. Abramovich, 75, of Bishop Drumm Care Center, 5837 Winwood Drive, died of cancer Sunday at Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, with burial in Glendale Cemetery.

He was born in Skidmore, Mo., and lived in Des Moines since 1929. A retired parts department supervisor at Ford Motor Co., he was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Croation Fraternal Lodge and Bellezzi-McRae American Legion Post 659. He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a sister, Frances Elliott, and a brother, Tony J., both of Des Moines.

A memorial service conducted by the American Legion post will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday and a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Dunn's Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after noon Tuesday at the funeral home. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa 14 Sept 1981.
