1944-2013

Gwen Losee, 68, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013.

Gwen was born June 21, 1944, in Webster City, to William and Fern Watts. She graduated from East High School in 1963. Gwen married her high school sweetheart, Don Losee, in August of 1964. They were married 35 years until his death in 2000. Gwen worked at Principal for 35 years until her retirement in 2006. She was a member of Capitol Hill Lutheran Church and the Red Hat Society.

Gwen is survived by her daughter, DeAnne (Tom) Nall; grandchildren, Emily and Ryan Nall; and several cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Don.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 11, 2013, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. There will be a Graveside Service at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, February 12, at Glendale Cemetery, followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 3857 E 42nd Street.
