West Des MoinesGeorge Catanzano, 48, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
George was born in Des Moines, graduated from Johnston High School and worked at Centennial Warehouse. He was the ultimate Raiders fan and loved to ride his Harley, but his passion was his grandchildren.
George is survived by his daughter, Miranda Ballard, mother, Marge, his grandchildren, Kianna and Daeshawn Ballard, and his siblings, David (Glenda), Debbie Sandquist, and Carol Catanzano.
He was preceded in death by his father, George and his son, Anthony.
