Marty B. McCoy, 81, peacefully left this world into the loving arms of her Savior on Monday afternoon November 26. Marty was a woman known for her deep faith in Jesus Christ and positive spirit. She was a joy to be around with her sense of humor and artsy skills in making wood projects, painting, sewing and piņatas for the great grandkids birthdays. She was heavily involved with her churches ministries and joyfully volunteered when she could.
She is survived by her older sister Joe Bahne and younger brother Bob Boremen, four children; Ted McCoy, Larry McCoy, Margie Brown and Mike McCoy as well as seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday December 9, at Valley Church on 4343 Fuller Rd. in West Des Moines.
