Melissa Noel McEniry, 37, entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 29, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 3, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.

Melissa was born on December 14, 1974 in Des Moines, Iowa to Bill and Sue (Mazzola) Holin. She graduated from Dowling High School and earned an Associate's Degree in Science in Child Development at DMACC in Ankeny. Melissa married Joe McEniry on November 24, 2000 and they made their home in Urbandale. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Melissa enjoyed her family vacations to Duluth, Facebook, and watching Drew participate in sports; she especially loved watching his hockey games. She will always be remembered and missed by her loving husband, Joe McEniry and their son, Andrew; parents, Sue and Bill Holin of Des Moines; sister, Andrea (Jeremy) Bryan of Urbandale; grandfather, William Holin of Des Moines; aunt, Mary (Greg) Maitre of Clive; uncle, Craig (Jan) Mazzola of Des Moines; mother-in-law, Catherine McEniry of Urbandale and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Valaria and Sam Mazzola and Gertrude Holin; uncle, Charles Holin; and father-in-law, Matthew McEniry.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church followed by a 3:30 p.m. prayer service.
