David G. Reeves 1942 to 2012

David G. Reeves, 69, died Friday, August 24, 2012 at Southern Hills Specialty Care Center in Osceola. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 28 at the funeral home.

David was born October 27, 1942 in Orient to Myrtle Faye and Darrold Reeves. He earned his BBA at the University of Iowa and was a graduate of Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the Federal Home Loan Bank in Des Moines. David loved golf and enjoyed traveling with his wife as they hunted for antiques and golf memorabilia.

David is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Lauren (John) Wheeler, Robyn Edwards, Renee (Mike) Sawyer; grandchildren, Jake Wheeler, Garrett Wheeler, Jon Ross Orth, Jack G. Senger, Samuel Senger, Michael Sawyer, Allison Sawyer, Ross Zoutte and Kendall Zoutte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle Faye and Darrold Reeves; Ross Edwards and Samantha Sawyer.
