ROY FLETCHER HENNINGER

Roy Fletcher Henninger, son of Wm. Fletcher and Alice Henninger, was born December 11, 1885 on the parents' homestead near Mitchellville, Iowa. He died October 30, 1930 at Davis City, Iowa, aged 44 years, 10 months and 12 days.

He was married to Mae Louise Appleby November 27, 1913, who died November 23, 1925. He was married to Mrs. Edith Euritt of Des Moines, Iowa on February _, 1927, who with her children, Robert and Evelyn Euritt survive him. Father, mother, brothers, have preceded him in death. One sister, Mrs. Roy Barton, with her husband and children, Dale and Carol, remain.

Mr. Henninger united with the I.O.O.F. No. 363 of Mitchellville, but was transferred to Davis City. He was also a member of the Woodman Lodge here. He was a true brother and friend and ever ready to help in times of need. With a brave and true heart he met the responsibilities of life with a love and devotion to family and friends. His sudden death leaves a void in the home, and a lonely sister that only the comfort of a great faith in the Father of Infinite Love can fill. Many relatives including the families of brothers and sister, and many neighbors and friends, will miss his genial comradeship, while loved ones now welcome him to his Heavenly Home.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Universalist church, conducted by the Rev. O.G. Colegrove. Comforting music was offered by Miss Helen Graham, with Mrs. Reid at the piano. Interment in Mitchellville cemetery.-Mitchellville Index.
