Services for Mrs. William Israel, 75, of 1515 E. Thirty-eighth St., who died of cancer Monday at Broadlawns General Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Glendale Catholic Cemetery.

Born neat Ottumwa, Mrs Israel lived here 55 years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and its Rosary Society.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs Tina M. Vance of Des Moines and Mrs. Hilda Wickes of Portland, Ore., five sons, Richard, Dwayne and Charles of Des Moines, Hollis of Wilmington, Cal., and George of Sioux Falls, S. D. , a sister, Lillian Haines of Ottumwa; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton Funeral Home.
