Charles I. Fisher

Services for former Des Moines resident Charles I. Fisher, 66 of Las Cruces, N. M., who died there Wednesday of a heart ailment, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home with burial at Glendale Cemetery.

Born in Des Moines, Mr. Fisher lived here for most of his life. He was a retired sign painter and was a member of the Baldwin-Petterson American Legion Post, the Disabled American Veterans Post No. 20, and the Wesley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of Las Cruses, N. M;, three daughters, Margaret Lint of Cummings, Marilyn Drake of San Jose, Calif., and Carol McKeown of Atascadero, Calif.; four sons, John, Russell, and William, all of Des Moines, and Charles E. of Alamagordo, Calif.; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
