JEFFERSON

Visitation for Irene Pound, 98, of Jefferson will be after 11 a.m. Friday, at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. According to Irene's wishes, a private family funeral service will take place at a later date. Interment will be in the Scranton Township Cemetery, Scranton, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to the Central Christian Church in Jefferson and may be left at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson.

Irene is survived by her children: Dick (Karen) Pound of Jefferson, Jane (Jerry) Howard of Urbandale, and Tim (Sheilah) Pound of Jefferson.
