OBITUARY
Clara, daughter of Joseph and Minerva Day, was born the 26th of July, 1867, at Des Moines, Iowa. She was converted and united with the Highland Park Evangelical church in 1883. In 1885 she was married to George W. Kimble. Unto them were born five children, who are all living.

She leaves besides children, a devoted husband, parents, two brothers, two sisters and many friends to mourn her loss.

For the past eight years her health had been gradually failing, until she entered into rest,February 14, 1900, near Highland Park, aged 32 years and 6 months and 10 days.

The funeral occurred from the home of her parents, February 15th at 2 p.m., where the many friends and neighbors were accommodated with room. Services were conducted by Rev. Jacob Wirth of the Evangelical church. The remains were interred in the Saylorville cemetery.
