Jack L. Stout, 81, of 3324 50th St. died of emphysema Sunday at Altoona Manor Care Center. Services will be graveside at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Stout was born in Iowa City and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired as a driver for Mid-Seven Transportation and Central Management, was an Army veteran of World War II and had been a member of Teamsters Union.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; four daughters Sandy Moore of Ankeny and Sally Pickett, Pam Berger and Karen Stout, all of Des Moines; three sons, David, Dennis and Dick all of Des Moines; three sisters, Genevieve Snider of Granger, Shirley Waters of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Georgia Klaunbirch of Santa Rosa, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 today at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Link AssociatesJuly 25, 1995
