Services for Floyd M. Sanford, 60, of 3880 N. E. Forty-sixth St., will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Canfield Cemetery at Ivy.
Mr. Sanford, a lifelong resident of Des Moines, died at Des Moines General Hospital Saturday morning of a heart ailment. He was formerly the service manager for Iowa Roofing Co.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; three sons, Richard and Russell of Des Moines and Larry of West Des Moines; a daughter, Donna Shaw of Des Moines; two stepsons, Jim and David Mullin, both of Des Moines; a step daughter, Diane Silver of Bondurant; a sister, Gladys Davis of Denver, Colo., and 25 grandchildren.
