Lucille L. Saylor, 70, of Hillside Convalescent Center, 233 University Ave., died of cancer Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Pine Hill Cemetery in Saylor Township.

Mrs. Saylor was born in Nebraska and had lived in Des Moines for 35 years. She was a retired cashier for Bosselman and Hartner Standard Truck Plaza, and was a member of the women's auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Survivors include two daughters, Madeline Martens of Cedar Rapids and Lorna Schmoranz of Atlanta; two brothers, Harold Mueller of Sierra Vista, AZ., and Howard Mueller of Houston, MO; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Save the Animals.
