Donald R. Graham, 92, of Cherokee, died Saturday (Feb. 24, 1990) at the Cherokee Villa following a long illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Cherokee. Rev. Dr. Earl Estill officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee, under direction of Boothby Funeral Home of Cherokee.

Mr. Graham was born Aug. 15, 1897, in Des Moines, the son of Joseph and Bessie (Utterson) Graham. He married Mildred Walch June 17,1924, at Cherokee. She died May 16, 1974. He then married Violet Woodall June, 1977. She died in 1982. He farmed all his life and also sold seed corn for many years. He was a member and elder of Memorial Presbyterian church, a member of Speculative Lodge 307 AF & AM and the Burning Bush Chapter 90 of Royal Arch Masonries. He was a former trustee of Pilot Township and a former member of the Pilot township school board. He was past president and secretary of Pilot Rock Plowing match. He has been a resident of Cherokee Villa the past five years, and had lived in Cherokee since 1977. Up until that time, he had lived on farms southwest of Cherokee for many
years.

Survivors include a son, David Graham of Cherokee; two daughters, Mrs. Beth Finzen of Akron and Mrs. Bonita Rosga of Bangor, Mich.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
