Death of C. W. Parlin

C. W. Parlin, an old resident of this city died at his home in Des Moines last Saturday and his remains were buried at that place Monday.

Mr. Parlin will be remembered by many here. He was engaged in the shoe business in this city for twelve or fifteen years, leaving here and locating in Des Moines something like sixteen years ago. He was a man much thought of by the people of this community, and highly respected wherever known. His many friends here will be grieved to learn of his demise.
