EVERETT HIGGINS (Princeton) ... Everett Eugene Higgins, son of George and Nellie [Coon] Higgins, was born in Mill Grove, MO, December 13, 1918 and passed away August 28, 1993, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Des Moines, IA, at the age of 74 years.

Everett was united in marriage to Eleanor Marie Hubka, April 11, 1945. Eleanor survives him of the home northeast of Princeton. He is also survived by his daughter Ruth Mooney, of St. Joseph, MO; his son Bruce Higgins of Princeton; a stepbrother, U.G. Kendall, of Aberdeen, MD; and by his four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Everett was a veteran of World War II, a farmer and a lifelong resident of Mercer county, Except for the seven years he served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the war.

His body was cremated under the direction of the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Princeton, MO.
