Floyd E. Warner, 77, passed away December 12, 2009 at Kavanaugh on 56th St. Floyd was born May 8, 1932 in Des Moines to Lewis and Illo (Wheeler) Warner. He retired from the West Des Moines School System in 1998 where he was a custodian for 27 years. In his younger years, Floyd was a bricklayer. He enjoyed collecting trains, gardening and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Floyd will be missed by many friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon st. followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
