Des MoinesOrlando M. Vivone , 86, died peacefully December 29, 2007 at Kavanagh House on 56th St. He was born April 5, 1921 to John and Julia Vivone in Des Moines.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday January 4, 2008 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m.
Orlando was a retired owner and Operator of Vivone's Tavern. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, The Society of Italian Americans and Bellizzi MacRae American Legion Post.
He is survived by his loving wife Florence of 67 years. He leaves three sons: Orlando, Jr.
of Clearwater Beach, FL., Gary of Des Moines and Denny (JoAnna) of New Port Richey, FL. Ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings and a daughter, Judith.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church or Kavanagh House 56th St.
