Rhoda Alyce (Duff) Stoll, daughter of Jay and Jessie Eva (Bradford) Duff, was born April 24, 1918 in Manning, Iowa. She worked in Manning before moving to Des Moines during WWII. After working for the Iowa State Department of Transportation for 20 years, Rhoda retired and remained in Des Moines.

Following a stroke in 1998, Rhoda became a resident of USA Healthcare Center in Earlham. In 2002, she was transferred to their center in Urbandale where she died on Monday, March 1, 2004 at the age of 85 years, 10 months and 6 days.

She is survived by her sister, Zona Gail Norem of Des Moines; niece, Darryln Norem Rolke of Sioux Falls, SD; nephew, James Capedevielle; grandniece, Holly and husband Jason Charrlyn and their children, Brookly and Allan Charrlin of Harrisburg, SD; grandnephew, Christian Murray and wife Amy and their daughter. Cleao Jo Murray of Ankeny; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation begins after 10 a.m. Friday, March 5 at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. Graveside funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Manning Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Des Moines.
