Dorothy Dwyer, 92, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 at her home in Calvin Community. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 27 at First Federated Church where she was a member. Burial of her cremated remains will be at Glendale Cemetery.

Dorothy was born on September 8, 1915 in Bagley, IA to Chester and Phoebe Cramer. She worked for 25 years as Vice President of United Federal Savings and Loan. After retirement in 1975 she and her husband, Robert, moved to Bella Vista, AR where she was an avid golfer. She returned to Des Moines in 2000. She enjoyed crocheting and reading.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Fran Carley of Pleasant Hill, son, David(Pat)Dwyer of Lexington, NC; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dwyer; parents and brother, Robert Cramer.

Memorial contributions are being directed to First Federated Church.
