Howard "Shortie" Nelson,died Sept. 25, 2005 in Arizona. He was a truck driver for Barton Solvent and Veteran of Korean War.

He is preceded by his parents, Ralph and Margaret Nelson and brother Eugene. He is survived by wife, Kathy; 2 step-daughters, Karen Horner and Connie Ring; 1 step-son, Frank Thorne, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and 3 nieces.
