Charles William Snyder,died Aug. 26, 2005. He was born Jan. 29, 1926 in Altoona, IA. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWii and Korea. He retired as lead pressman for Meredith Publishing. He was 50 year member of both Daylight and Eastgate Masonic Lodges; lifetime member of AmVet #9662 and past commander and member of AnVets #2.

Charles is survived by his wife Fran; 3 children, Charles Jr., Diane and Barbara; brother Durward; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. His body has been cremated and no services are planned.
