Sarah M. Gilleran, 94, of Marshalltown died of pneumonia Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilleran was born in Unionville and lived in Des Moines before moving to the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown eight years ago. She was a homemaker.
Among survivors are four daughters, Mary Minarsich, Katheran Green and Margaret Umphress, all of Des Moines and Bernice Luchsinger of Lake Mills; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. and where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church's parish foundation.
