VII. Issue: 53 Page: 1

A “Young Family.” – Vincent Young, Co. I. 18th Iowa Infantry, called on the Adj.t General on Saturday last to see the old flag of the 18th. We happened to be present and learned the following statement of the “Young Boys.” He was one of the eleven brothers who served in the cause of the Union. Here is the list; Adam Young, do; James Young, do; Aaron Young, Missouri regiment; Charles Young, do; Isaac Young, do; John W. Young, do; Richard M. Young, do; Robert F. Young, do; Jasper Young, Missouri State Militia; Vincent Young, 18th Iowa Infantry; Richard M. and Robert F. were twin. Who can beat that?
