Officers Fear Girl Was kidnapped

Mystery surrounds the disappearance yesterday of Zola Tutwiler, a 17 years old girl, from the Polk County farm where she was placed by the juvenile court under the guardianship of Mrs. Mary Miller, an aunt of the girl who is employed on the farm. Police and county authorities are looking for her and it is feared that the second attempt to kidnap the girl from Mrs. Miller has been successful. According to the probation officer Charles Young, who is working on the case, the life of the girl, who is under the protection of the court has been full of some of the bitterest experiences that ever were recorded in the annals of the court. It is stated that from the age of four indignities were practiced upon her. These continued until she was 13 years old when the matter was brought to the attention of the juvenile court by neighbors who lived near the Tutwiler home on East Twenty-Ninth Street
