Grigsby, C.--Farmer, section 10, P.O. Sheldahl. The subject of this sketch is a native of Guernsey county, Ohio. Born February 14, 1830. He was raised there and has always made farming his occupation. He came to Illinois, and from there to this county, in 1854, where he has resided since. He was married in 1854, in Macomb, McDonough county, Illinois, to Miss Margaret J. Ginivan of Guernsey county. They have a family of five children living: Milton W., George W., Elmer, William and Anna. They have lost one, Elbert. His home consists of 176 acres of well-improved land.
