Dies of Self-Inflicted Wounds.
The attempt of C. B. H. Johnson, a wealthy Pocahontas county farmer, to end his life, resulted successfully when Johnson died after two days’ terrible suffering. While temporarily insane, due to pain from neuraliga, Johnson blew off one side of his head with a shotgun.
