Herman Wiese Funeral Held In Montana
Funeral services for Herman G. Wiese, 53, who died unexpectedly at his home north of Conrad, Mont, Saturday evening, Dec. 4, were held Thursday, Dec. 9 in the Pondera Valley Lutheran church there with burial in Hillside cemetery.
Mr. Wiese was born in July 1912 at Pocahontas. He was married in 1935 to Katherine Beekman at Pocahontas and in December 1937 became associated, with Cargill, Inc., at Spirit Lake. He later managed an elevator at Minnesota, Minn., until November 1945, when he went to Conrad, Mont, to become a Cargill manager in 1947.
He is survived by his widow; two sons, David, Belgrade, and Daniel, Conrad; one daughter, Cynthia of Conrad; a brother, Henry Wiese of Pocahontas; and three sisters, Mrs. Lena Zeman and Mrs. Lester Botine of Pocahontas and Mrs. John Ahlrichs of Rockwell City.
Those from this area who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wiese, Mrs. Lena Zeman, Mrs. Lester Botine, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beekman, Mrs. Tena Meyer and Mrs. Mary Beekman, all of Pocahontas; Ray Zeman of Ware; Harold Zeman of Lidderdale and Mrs. John Ahlrichs of Rockwell City.
