In Loving Memory of Leo P. Rollings

Leo P. Rollings, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa was born in Silvis, Illinois, the son of William Clyde & Grace Elizabeth (Douglas) Rollings. He was united in marriage to Mildred G. Helmer in Palmer, Iowa on September 29, 1934. She preceded him in death on September 5, 1991.

Leo was employed at Swan Engineering, retiring in 1976 as tool & dye maker supervisor after more than 30 years of service. During World War II, he was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal.

He was a charter member of Hamilton Lodge #664, A.F.&A.M. of Bettendorf, a member of the Davenport Consistory and a member of the Moline Gospel Temple in Moline, Illinois.

On Tuesday morning at the age of 86 years, 6 months & 100 days, he passed away at his home in Bettendorf.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter & son-in-law, Ruth Ann & Bill Richards of Lincoln, California; his son, Peter R. Rollings of Santee, California; his grandchildren, Mark Rollings, Jill Richards, Jana Richards & Jodi Silva, and his great-grandchildren, Tyler Slaughter & Kelsie Silva.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William & Harry.

Masonic Services 7:00 P.M. Friday June 19, 1998 at McGinnis, Chambers & Sass Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Conducted by Hamilton Lodge #664, A.F.&A.M. Bettendorf, Iowa. Graveside Services 2:00 P.M. Saturday June 20, 1998, Clinton-Garfield Cemetery; Rolfe, Iowa
