Charles Stebbins, 84, Dies at Home of Brother, Guy, Here.

Charles Stebbins, 84, died at 5 a.m. today at the home of his brother, Guy Stebbins, in this city. Death was caused by complications incident to old age.
He had been seriously ill about five weeks and was brought to this city from the University hospital in Iowa City two weeks ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Gilmore City Methodist church, with Foster's in charge.
There will be a brief service at 12:30 p.m. at the Foster funeral home in charge of the Rev. J.J. Share, Methodist minister.
Mr. Stebbins was a former sheriff of Pocahontas county and had lived in Gilmore City 55 years. He was widely known in that community. His wife and two children preceded him in death.
He is survived by his brother, Guy (Daily Freeman Journal, Webster City, Iowa, Fri. 20 Dec 1940, 2).
