Mrs.A.G*. Kellogg Dead

Mrs. A. G. Kellogg, a resident of Pocahontas for seven years, died on Monday morning at 7:45 o'clock of cancerous tumors from which she has suffered for many years. The funeral services were held at the home of the deceased on Tuesday morning at nine o'clock. Rev. Simpson of the Methodist church preached the funeral sermon.

Mrs. Kellogg nee Mary E. Seeley, was born in New York State in 1856, moving to Iowa in 1869 and was married to Mr. A. G. Kellogg on January 11, 1876. Two children were born to them at Chapin, Iowa but died in early years. Mrs. Kellogg made many friends who deeply mourn the loss of her who was so throughly true and unselfish.

The interment was made at Webster City, where lie the remains of the parents and one brother of the late Mrs. Kellogg. Those present at the funeral from out of town were: Mr. E. E. Seeley (the only surving member of the Seeley family) and wife of Iowa Falls, Mrs. W.H. Seeley, Mrs. C. A. Seeley, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Bourne and Mrs. W. R. Richardson, all of Webster City, Iowa.

*August Genero (Mary E. Kellogg was the daughter of William R. and Sarah A. Robinson)
