Funeral services for Chelsey Marie Oder were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 18 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Fonda, Iowa. The Rev. Edward Murray officiated and burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery, Fonda. Mahaney Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Chelsey was born November 7, 1987 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. She died November 16, 1987 at Buena Vista County Hospital. Survivors include her parents, Scott and Roxanne (Phipps) Oder of Storm Lake, Iowa; maternal grandparents Merton and Jean Phipps of Waukon, Iowa; paternal grandparents Pat Oder of San Jose, California and Marvin Oder of Greenfield, Iowa; great-grandparents Sophia Russell of Mazomanie, Wisconsin and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller of Fonda, Iowa.
