Obituary
Mrs. William TullisMrs. William Tullis, 88, LeMars, died Jan. 21, 1976, at a LeMars nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First United Methodist church. Rev. Everett Staats will officiate.
Burial will be in the Hillside cemetery at Merrill. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday in the Mauer funeral home.
Mrs. Tullis, the former Gertrude Van Dyke, was born Feb. 11, 1887, in LeMars. She married (Wm. Tullis) Dec. 27, 1905, at LeMars.
She lived in Plymouth county most of her life and in recent years had lived with her children in northwest Iowa.
She was a member of the First United Methodist church. Mr. Tullis died in November of 1954.
Survivors are two sons, Frank L. of Sioux City and Lloyd E. of Hinton; four daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Pearl) Johnson of Cherokee, Mrs. Chris (Hazel) Johnson of Craig, Mrs. Donald (Mona) Lund of Remsen and Mrs. George (Lilla Mae) Marine of Sioux City; 14 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by two sons, Wilbur and Howard.
