George (error--Robert) Moir Died At Mitchell, S. D.
Funeral In LeMars Sunday Afternoon

Robert S. Moir, who lived for many years north of LeMars, died of a heart attack at his home near Mitchell, South Dakota, December 22.

Robert Moir was born August 22, 1872, at Exeter, Ontario, Canada, and in 1882 moved with his parents, the late Alexander and Jessie Moir, to Sioux county, where he made his home until he married. In recent years he has been farming near Mitchell.

He is survived by one son, Floyd, who lives in California, one daughter, Mrs. George Bullock of Mitchell, eight grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Agnes Van Winkel (sic--Van Wechel) of Fergus Falls, Minn., and four brothers, R. J. Moir of LeMars, J. T. Moir of Groton, S. D., P. W. Moir of Mitchell and A. C. Moir of Andover, S. D. His wife and two children preceded him in death.

Burial was in the city cemetery, LeMars, and services were conducted at the Mauer Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, December 24. Rev. G. O. Thompson officiated.
