Orison Jeffers, 80, Dies In Sleep; Rites To Be Thursday
Orison Fuller Jeffers, 80, died in his sleep Tuesday, Nov. 3, at his home in Brunsville. He was born Feb. 17, 1873 in Johnson township, Plymouth county.
He had farmed near Ruble until retiring in 1920. Mr. Jeffers lived on the farm until moving to Brunsville in 1944 to make his home with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Plueger. He was never married.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Plymouth Presbyterian church near Brunsville at 2 p.m. Rev. E. M. Miller will have charge of the service and burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Mauer's funeral home.
He is survived by two brothers and a sister. They are W. W. Jeffers of Sioux City, Frank E. Jeffers of Elk Point, S. D., and Mrs. I. M. (Annie) Boyer of Sturgis, S. D.
His parents, two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
