LeMars, Iowa – Lloyd Ewers, 82, of LeMars died Saturday in a hospital in LeMars.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars. The Rev. James Ransom will officiate. Burial will be in the LeMars Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Ewers was born Aug. 19, 1901, in LeMars. He was a life long area farmer. He married Stella Burrill Aug. 17, 1926, in LeMars. She died in 1982.

He was a member of the Plymouth Presbyterian Church, rural Akron and the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Ruth) Farley of LeMars and three grandchildren.
