Dies of Injuries From Flower Box

Deborah Kay Moritz, a 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Moritz, Jr., of Struble, died Sunday, Sept. 25, at Sacred Heart hospital where she had been a patient six days. The child suffered internal injuries as the result of an accident when a large flower box fell across her abdomen last week.

Deborah was born Aug. 27, 1952, at Le Mars, the daughter of John J. and Deloris Renken Moritz.

In addition to her parents, survivors are a brother, Dennis, at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Moritz of Struble; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Renken of Ireton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church in Grant township. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Mauer's Funeral home.
