Lila W. WeberLila W. Weber, 96, of LeMars, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1995, at Plymouth Manor Care Center in LeMars.
Lila W. Darville was born July 13, 1899, on the family farm in rural Plymouth County, the daughter of Henry and Edith Coolbaugh Darville. She graduated from LeMars High School and was a teacher for a number of years and a homemaker.
Mrs. Weber was a member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ and the United Church Women's Group.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest of LeMars; a son and his wife, Wayne and Beverly Weber of LeMars; a daughter and her husband, Lavonne and Harold Buss of LeMars; four grandchildren, Carol Clay and her husband, Douglas of LeMars, Patrick Weber and his wife of Eau Claire, Wis., Jeffrey Weber of South Sioux City, Neb., and Desiree Jacob and her husband, Nebu, of St. Louis, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Jennifer Clay and Kyra Jacob; and a sister, Amy Keizer of Traer.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie and Harold Darville.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Dave Cave officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery at LeMars. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today (Wednesday), with the family present from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.
